The Chroma Kids Easter Art

Isn’t it exciting exploring fresh ways to decorate eggs?

It’s like taking your favourite art techniques from paper and giving them a whole new canvas to shine on! Here at the Chroma Club we have taken a shining to decorating some of our eggs this easter by using stickers to create resist art!
We used dot and star stickers (with added sharpie pen drawings for that little extra pop) to create our designs and so can you…

MATERIALS

  • White Eggs, hard-boiled
  • Foil Star Stickers
  • Stationery Store Stickers
  • Sharpie Markers
  • Food Colouring or Liquid Watercolours + White Vinegar (or you can use an Easter egg dye kit)

INSTRUCTIONS

Get Sticking

Add your stickers to the hard boiled eggs in what ever pattern style you want.

Add The Extra Details

Want to get a little more arty with your eggs? Then grab those sharpie pens and get doodling – draw, scribble or even write the choice it yours.

Time To Get Dyeing

If you are using a Dye Kit simply follow the packs instructions but if you fancy making your own you can use Liquid Watercolours or Food Colouring (use as much as you want) with 3/4 Cup of Hot Water and 1 Tablespoon of White Vinegar.

Time To Get Peeling

Gently remove the stickers from your egg – some may come off easier then others so be patient and gentle with them as to not crack your egg.
