Come be Screen Queens for a day with Kim where you will be guided down a path of creativity & inspiration that will have your home popping hot with vibrant textile prints. You’ll create an artful
fabric design using painting and screen-printing techniques. This is perfect for beginners and requires no previous experience. You’ll be coached through the process and encouraged to release your fears and get your creative juices flowing in an inspiring, well-structured and super fun workshop.
First, you will explore different brushwork and painting styles to create the background design, learning about positive and negative space. Then you’ll get to experiment with printing techniques using a silkscreen and squeegee, learn about pressure, flooding and technique. You will use Kim’s personal designs to screen-print and be using eco-friendly non-toxic paints to
create beautiful and dynamic designs.
