Hi, I’m Kim — founder of The Chroma Club, and you’ll usually find me teaching in the studio.
I’ve loved painting anything and everything for as long as I can remember… ever since I could first get my hands on a paintbrush as a little girl. Creativity has always felt like home to me.
I originally started out as a textile designer, before falling in love with painting large-scale abstract artworks and creating private commissioned pieces for interiors. I’ve always been deeply inspired by colour, texture, emotion and the fun, stylised energy of the pop art movement.
Over the years, art has become so much more than just creating beautiful things for me — it’s become about connection, confidence, expression and helping people feel something.
I’m also a wife and proud mum of two teenage girls, so I understand just how important it is for kids to feel safe, supported and confident in themselves.
Teaching is such a huge part of what I love — not just showing people how to paint, but helping them believe they can.
I created The Chroma Club to feel calm, welcoming and genuinely supportive…
a space where creativity is for everyone.
A place where kids, teens and adults feel safe to explore, make mistakes, express themselves and grow in confidence.
I’m deeply connected to nature — it’s where I find calm, clarity and inspiration — and that grounded feeling is something I try to bring into the studio every day.
Over time, I’ve found I naturally tune into how students are feeling… when they’re unsure, when they need encouragement, when they just need a moment.
That’s something I care deeply about.
Creating a space where people feel seen, supported and creatively free.
Because when that happens…
something really beautiful opens up.

Whether you’re looking for weekly classes, a holiday activity, or something for yourself — we’d love to welcome you into the studio.
