    Suitable for ages 6 - 9 yrs  $356 Incl. gst   For crafty kids with big imaginations, this nine-week, step-by-step program will teach them the rudiments of drawing and painting techniques in a simplified way, using a range of mediums so that they can  nurture their imaginations. A structured class for young creators, starting with popular warm-up drawing games. The focus is on fun and confidence building! Content: Covering a variety of subjects using the three main types of drawing – Observation, Memory and Imagination. Lessons in Realistic, Still-Life, Animated Characters, Fantasy and Perspective Drawing.     Suitable for ages 12 – 16yrs $356 Incl. gst   A structured senior class providing formal art instruction for teen creators. Our program is designed to challenge and inspire, helping young artists develop confidence, independence, and their own unique style. Across weeks 1-3, students build on and master foundational skills.

    In weeks 5-9, they design and create a personal project from start to finish, with one-on-one mentoring and a group showcase in week 9 to celebrate their progress. From mastering techniques like shadow, perspective, and composition to experimenting with media such as charcoal, acrylics, ink, and collage — this course is about growth, expression, and creative discovery. The goal being to develop independence while applying earlier foundation skills.

    This class will learn with Graphite & Coloured Pencils; Black-line Markers; Soft pastels and Acrylics, inks  and Watercolours. Across the day, kids will complete three exciting art projects, each designed to introduce new techniques and encourage personal expression — while keeping things relaxed, joyful, and beginner-friendly. We begin the day with a vibrant painting or drawing activity that introduces foundational techniques like colour blending, mark-making, and creative thinking — a gentle, confidence-building start. Midday brings a shift in pace as we explore a hands-on medium such as collage, clay, or mixed media. This session is all about texture, layering, and playful experimentation. To finish, we create a bold, expressive artwork that brings together everything learned — something imaginative and unique for each child to take home and feel proud of. There’s plenty of downtime, snack and lunch breaks, and of course, loads of encouragement along the way.
