You'll create an artful fabric design using painting and screen-printing techniques. This is perfect for beginners and requires no previous experience. You’ll be coached through the process and encouraged to release your fears and get your creative juices flowing in an inspiring, well-structured and super fun workshop. First, you will explore different brushwork and painting styles to create the background design, learning about positive and negative space. Then you’ll get to experiment with printing techniques using a silkscreen and squeegee, learn about pressure, flooding and technique. You will use Kim’s personal designs to screen-print and be using eco-friendly non-toxic paints to create beautiful and dynamic designs. Terms : We have class minimums to meet, if we do not make them and need to cancel a class we will do so 24 hrs prior and offer you a full refund or a credit to attend a class at the same value within a 12 month period. If you can not make a class for whatever reason, please give us 48 hrs notice. If you do not show, unfortunately, we can not refund or give credit due to the nature of these workshops.
