Designed for teens ready to take their art further, this personalised studio program focuses on developing technical skill, confidence and individual creative style.

Students work on their own focus projects with dedicated mentoring and guidance, learning to develop ideas, strengthen drawing and painting techniques, make confident creative decisions and refine their work to a high standard.

Throughout the term, students will:

✨ Develop original concepts and personal projects ✨ Strengthen realism, composition, light and drawing skills ✨ Explore different mediums and techniques ✨ Receive individual feedback and technical guidance ✨ Create refined artworks suitable for portfolios and competitions

New for Term 4 – Oil Painting

Students will spend 2–3 lessons exploring oil painting, learning colour mixing, brush control, blending and layering techniques to create greater depth and realism. All materials are provided.

Special Guest Artist

We’ll also welcome a professional fine-line tattoo artist for two special sessions exploring realism, black & grey and colour tattoo styles, composition and the journey from initial sketch to finished tattoo design.

Students will also gain an insight into tattooing as a professional creative pathway and hear about our guest artist’s own career journey.

With personalised guidance and a focused group environment, places are limited. Suitable for ages 8 - 12 yrs $380 Incl. gst $342 Incl. gst - Discounted Sibling Place   A structured junior class providing formal instruction for middle-grade creators. Teaching the rudiments of drawing in a simplified way, with added attention to detail and technique. Students are guided step-by-step to complete a different artwork each week, covering a variety of subject matter and materials. Lessons start with popular warm-up drawing games such as speed drawing and blind drawing. The focus is on fun and confidence-building! This class will learn with Graphite & Coloured Pencils; Black-line Markers; Soft pastels and Watercolours. Duration: 1 hour 45 minutes, Every Thursday for Nine weeks (Starting Thursday 8th October 2026) Location: Miami Business Centre 6 / 2190 Gold Coast Highway, Miami, Gold Coast Time: 4:00 PM - 5:45 PM What to bring Junior Premium Art Pack - please see 'Premium Art Pack' for what you will need to bring. Lessons in Realistic, Still-Life, Animated Characters, Fantasy and Perspective Drawing. Class Raffle: Each term, one lucky student per class wins a wonderful prize pack of art materials.
